Spring Veggie Tartines~ an illustrated printable recipe

Hey friends, I'm here with another recipe for you!
A pretty substantial portion of Bert's and my diet should be categorized under "Things You Can Eat On Toast." Or "Things Bert Makes When He Has To Cook Dinner." :)
When it's hot and we're lazy, this is our go-to dinner plan. It's fun to be creative and try new cheeses and use whatever seasonal veggies and fruit we've just picked up at the farmer's market.
  • Bread ~ Any bread will do but we often use a French baguette. When it's hot and you don't want to fire up the oven, in a pinch you can toast the baguette slices int he toaster and then drizzle them with a bit of olive oil.
  • Cheese ~ We love Boursin but your favorite soft cheese will work too- cream cheese, ricotta, Montrachet, etc. We also use hummus and other bean spreads too.
  • Toppings ~ Be creative!
You can print the recipe from the link below. And check out my other printable recipes here.

This is such a great idea. Now that our daughter is working 3 nights a week, my husband and I are eating more snack-like dinners. This recipe and nice bottle of wine would be a wonderful dinner for a hot summer night.
